What is the best way to squeeze dry chopped spinach.
I tried paper towels, and I am either doing it wrong or that isnt the best way. Lol

You thaw it, place it in a piece of muslin, and then squeeze it (twist it like you're wringing out clothing). Or you can put it in a strainer and let it drain.

I put it in a strainer, I think that Is going to take too long.
I making artichoke spinach dip. Do you think it matters if it is still somewhat wet?

I have old tea towels from my mom, I think I will try that real quick.

put it in the strainer than get a bowl roughly the size of the strainer and push down on the spinach wiht the bottom of the bowl, it will force the water out.

Yup. That's what you need to do.

And, you'll be surprised at how much water comes out. That has to come out before you put it in the dip otherwise your dip will become more like a runny sauce, not a dip.

I used the tea towels, worked out great... Put it in the dip and it isn't too runny. I actually had to add a little bit more mayo.
I tasted it before cooking it, and I would eat that way. LOL

I was never in to cooking, so I am learning as I go now.. Plus this dip was pretty easy to make.

I will have to post the recipe for the tex mex salad my mom made. Soooo good! Eating some now.
