Backed into the NC in 1965 when heavily favored Mich St lost to UCLA in the Rose Bowl.

Claim a share of the NC with ND in 1973 - because UPI rankings were based before bowl games.


Did the same thing in 1975 - when ND beat them again - in Ara P last game as ND coach.

In 1978 - somehow got a share of the NC - even though USC beat them at their place.

Plays boring football and getsfavoritism because they play in the SEC .

It must be tough that a team bothers you so much you have to delve into the history books to find things to say about them.

If you dislike the voting in the polls then you are out of luck. I find it amusing that you act like you know something about football, but then make disparaging remarks about one of the winningest teams because you think their style of play is boring. Lets see, should an athletic competition be played based on entertainment value or on how best to win the game.

Golson has passed for 2,135 yards this year, with 11 TDs and 5 interceptions. He has a total of 305 yards rushing in 89 attempts.

Manziel has passed for 3,419 yards this year with 24 TDs and 8 interceptions. He also ran for 1,181 yards.

So your claim is complete bullshit. Golson is certainly not in the same league as Manziel. Manziel passed for more yards AND ran for more yards than Golson did. And Manziel did it against tougher defenses.

In fact, Manziel passed for more yards than Golson has passing and rushing combined. And Manziel accounted for 43 TDs. Golson? He accounted for 16 TDs.

Why would I be embarrassed? USC lost to AZ State that year. AZ State was a 9-3 team. Why is it so hard to understand that losing to an inferior team always costs you votes?

And USC beat the #5 ranked team in a bowl game. Alabama beat the #1 team in the country in their bowl game.

No embarrassment at all.

Aren't you embarrassed that you have to dig so far into history to make your point and then still fail to do so?
