Nazi stormtrooper extradited 75 years after concentration camp massacre
Jakiw Palij was carried from his home a helpless old man, strapped to a stretcher. But the former Nazi guard is a living link to one of the most appalling crimes in human history.
Palij, now 95, was a guard at the Nazi stormtrooper training camp at Trawniki in German-occupied Poland during the Second World War.
The camp became a graveyard for 12,000 Jewish prisoners who slaved in factories to fuel the Nazi war machine before being slaughtered in November 1943. An estimated 6,000 people were shot dead in just one day.
The massacre was dubbed Operation Harvest Festival by Adolf Hitler's henchmen.
Its good that thse roaches are still being hunted down. I hope that they never rest.
