Your lies contradict verse 44.Acts 4:32 Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. You moron... "THEY SOLD" which means THEY OWNED and from their excess they provided for the rest.. BUT THEY DETERMINED WHAT WAS EXCESS not the state or the church. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.
YOU have no clue what being a good steward of what GOD gave us means.
Twisting the Bible for you're own purpose...
4:34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.
4:35 They laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
(New Revised Standard version)
That is exactly whatYOU did!!!
And the parts you edited out expose your lie. You simply changed EVERYTHING to "excess" to create your lie. There is great punishment from God for doing that.
Revelation 22:18,19
18. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Let me put this dunce in his place...
But there is one move "proof" that the Leftists use to promote communism/socialism....and is fairly powerful- if one is unfamiliar with biblical history.
Acts 2:44-45
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.
Hmmm.....kinda like "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs "
Now for the context: the quote refers to a festival celebrated by the Jews/Christians of the time, the time after the grain harvest.
"The preceding verses in Acts show that the time setting is the annual festival of Pentecost. On this day, thousands of Jews from all over the world were gathered in Jerusalem. ... In their excitement of finding God’s truth, conversing with God’s apostles and people of like mind, many remained in Jerusalem longer than they had planned and ran short of food and money. .... “Consequently, of necessity, they formed a sort of community for the time being only.
These people were not socialists or Communists. But they were generous, giving and compassionate! Many of the local Church members sold their property as needed to help fellow brothers meet their expenses in Jerusalem during this exciting time ..."
“They did not all sell everything they owned at once, but they sold property only when,or ‘as anyone might be in need.’ … an absolute community of goods never was practiced by the Church at Jerusalem or any other Christian church” Is God a Socialist?
Never a commune.....never a permanent socialist entity.
The bible is clear as to who gets help....and when.
