In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. He also declared that the third Sunday in July would be National Ice Cream Day.

Well today is the third Sunday and July and with record temps across the country, ice cream is the perfect treat to cool you down. With hundreds of flavors and toppings to choose from, you can't go wrong with ice cream!

So what's your favorite flavor?
Your favorite mix-in, if any?
What about your favorite brand or ice cream shoppe?

CHRISTINA'S HOMEADE ICE CREAM | Inman Sq. | Cambrididge MA | Ice cream | Coffee | Harvard | MIT | Cafe

Yum!

Dark chocolate, if plain ice cream.

Toasted almond with hot fudge and hot caramel sauces if in a sundae.

In terms of just generic, what you can find anywhere ice cream, I'm really fond of chocolate chip cookie dough and you can never go wrong with strawberry. Also, I'll always be fond of fresh peach ice cream down in farm country.

Personally, I like Peanut butter chocolate.

All natural vanilla with fresh toppings, nuts, as a float, ala apple pie (that means more ice cream than pie.....). :D
My second favorite is coffee ice cream, especially espresso chip. :eusa_drool:
