Nasty storm

The night before last we had a pretty good sized storm. All I know is that there was a lot of rain, wind, lightning & thunder. When I left home yesterday around 8am I found lots of branches on the streets. Then I got about 1/4 mile away and it looked like I entered Beirut! This one stretch, which is only about 1/2 mile long, looked like it was hit by a tornado. The local high school lost about 150 trees on their property and the roof was nearly taken off. I was going to go back out today and snap a few pics but the local news beat me to it.

We has the same thing. I thought the house was going to float away.

We had a pretty good size storm last night, too. Alaska sucks fr storms, this was the first good one I've had in a LONG time!
