Bloomberg is a fiscal conservative. He ran as a Republican..

He doesn't really care all that much about public health..unless it impacts the bottom line.

And the bottom line in NYC is that they don't turn people away from the emergency room. Unlike Jan Brewer..in Arizona..who let people die because of lack of funds for medical procedures..that really isn't done here.

So the Mayor..in his conservative wisdom..seeks to keep people from getting fat. To save cost.

He isn't building new atheletic facilities..or encouraging wellness. He's dictating what you can and can't do.

That's the conservative way.

SEE: Abortion.
SEE: Birth Control.
SEE: Drug Laws.
SEE: Marriage.
