Nadler: I don't understand why Mueller didn't charge Donald Trump Jr., others in Trump Tower meeting

Mueller didn't bring up charges because you can't indict a sitting president, and if Mueller HAD brought charges, it would have been against Trump's constitutional right to a speedy trial, because it would have to wait until he left office.

Doesn't rule out the possibility of a sealed indictment though. If they have one already, charges could be brought against Trump as soon as he leaves office and the indictment is unsealed.

Are there any sealed indictments? I think we'd know.
Besides, the grand jury is still there, and according to Todd on MSNBC there are 12 investigations handed off to other districts, so plenty of "landmines" for Trump to watch out for.

There has been an unusual amount of sealed indictments filed in DC over the past year. And, because they are sealed, you only know the docket number, not who or what it is about.

There are dozens of sealed criminal indictments on the DC docket. Are they from Mueller?

Nearly three dozen sealed criminal indictments have been added to the federal court docket in Washington, D.C. since the start of 2018.

Sealed criminal court files are assigned a case number, but do not indicate the identity of the parties or the nature of the charges, so it is impossible for the public to discern what those sealed cases contain.

But several legal experts told ABC News the number of sealed cases awaiting action right now is unusual. Fourteen were added to the docket since late August alone, a review by ABC News has found, just as the midterm elections were drawing near and longstanding Justice Department policy precluded prosecutors from taking any public action that could appear to be aimed at influencing political outcomes.

Noodler is just the latest Democrat Leader to step forward and out himself as an anti-Trumper anti-American douche bag. This is just a way for these faceless career politicians to finally get some air time. Whoever heard of this toad a month ago?

BTW round boy is in his FOURTEENTH term in congress. Term limits anyone?

Nadlers an idiot, or worse, part of the entrenched coup. If the Russian adoption lawyer was part of the Russian gov't then the Dem Congressman who had her sit behind him in a congressional session would have been arrested for letting a Russian agent in a U.S. hearing where some is deemed classified. Mueller would have also had to supoena and have testify the many Hillary and DNC staff members that met with the same lawyer. In fact, now that they know she's tied to the same fusion gps and was introduced by a British tabloid editor (Goldstone) who used to hang out with Al Gore's WH press staff, then those DNC and Campaign staffers will most likely be questioned in the Source of the Fisa abuse & false charges investigation.
NADLERS A BIGGER IDIOT for thinking the comment about Mueller being conflicted was somehow obstruction, because it was a truthful observation as Mueller broke the law (28 CFR Section 45.2) by not recusing himself in his conflict of interest with "Friend Comey" and elsewhere in his strange hiring of Hillary connected lawyers and shadey people.
Furthermore you can't obstruct Justice if investigations just get passed on to the next capable hands, justice is still being served, and you can't obstruct an innocent from an innocent conclusion-Duh! Therefore the only obstruction has been Dems trying to obstruct that justice of innocence, interfering and leaking and setting up narratives and threatening prosecuters, while also keeping tabs on the investigation details while still on going and seeking illegal info on redactions to illegally leak them or interfere with existing cases or info important to cheat or dodge reprocussions going the other direction.
In other words the Dems want secret info on what Mueller knows about their hand in this Ruse so they are prepared when the boomerang comes back around towards them.
