Aside from those common occurrences of people shooting down helicopters, I'm sure this knucklehead and those like him are convinced that a 4-1/2 ft long, 35 lb. rifle that shoots ammo costing $7.50 / round will be the firearm of choice for street punks looking to rob a 7-11.
He never explains why, or how, a .50 cal is a ''weapon of war'' and never explains how these are ''on our streets''.
