Many years ago I was working as a security guard for a mall.
I got a call that some woman was stealing things off the shelves.
I found a mentally handicapped woman approx. 30 years old, going through the toys on the shelves.
Someone told me she lives at a house down the street.
I walked down to the house and found some old man lounging in an arm chair.
I asked him if he knew this person and he said "yes"
I said "you can't just let her walk to the mall unsupervised and start pulling things off the shelves"
With a "gave up" attitude, he starts telling me the story of how the doctors convinced them she needed shots when she was a kid, and her brain was screwed up ever since.
I said "You need to come pick her up"
He said "She'll come back soon"
I said "No, you need to come pick her up"
With the odds that I've met someone in my anti-social little life, who was screwed up by the medical profession, that must mean there are thousands of victims.
If someone told me to my face there was "no evidence", I think i'd knock them on their ass.
