It is NOT 15-20% active participants. If it was, you would be dead by now. 15% of Muslims is around 200 MILLION people. If they were all actively trying to hurt the US, we would be hurting a lot worse than we are now.

That you would even suggest that 5-10% of Muslims are active terrorists is simply out there. That would mean that there are between 65 million and130 million terrorists. If this is true then we are in a whole hell of a lot of trouble as there isn't any way to win against that many people. Larkinn's suggestion that it is 1% or a fraction of 1% makes far more sense since 1% would mean that there are less then 13 million active terrorists. It's not even 1/10th of a percent since 1.3 million Muslims would be active terrorists. Maybe 1/100th would be a more reasonable estimate since that would make 130,000 Muslims active terrorists. Anymore then 1/100th of a percent and we are in a whole lot of trouble since the war on terrorism would be a bad one. The Battle of Armageddon would look like a walk in the park if that amount of people were actively committing terrorist acts. When you think that 19 men were able to kill almost 3,000 people. That would mean that 130,000 terrorists could kill as many as 20.5 million people in individual attacks like 9/11. If that is the case then I think we need to re-think our approach and convince them to play ball but I suspect that we are talking about a small number of terrorists. Anymore than that and we are going to wake up one morning and the Muslim terrorists will have achieved victory by killing over 20 million people
