My father was an excellent housekeeper.
When I was a lad I really had no idea how much work it was to keep a place functional.
The man changed and iron my sheets ever two days for christ sakes!
Hell I'm lucky if I can find a clean sheet to put on my bed.
If it my imagination or were previous generations just a hell of lot better at keeping house than most of my generation (and the ones following mine)?
When I was a kid everybody's house was neat and clean.
Now when I come into a home like that, I'm impressed by how well kept it is.
