if you abolish taxes how do you see....fire department, police department, roads and basic city infrastructure being maintained and paid for?

Abolishing federal income tax would have aboslutely no effect on any of those since that is maintained by the states.

i will have to let the local library, the interstate freeway system and the new fire and police stations all partially funded with federal grants and "pork" know that they would have nothing to worry about...

also, our city does not have city property taxes.....he said income tax....to me that would mean state and fed....ssi is an income tax as is unemployment as they are taxes on my income....as are pretty much every other tax.....no fed income tax....tough to have an army...fema...national guard...and on and on....i pay my 35% or whatever the hell it is.....part of living here

You will be happy to know that progressives have always led the march to personal and national freedoms. The Democrats, as you describe them, did not lead us into this ill-conceived and irresponsible war in Iraq or the subsequent attack on the workers of this country with ill-concieved and far-reaching tax irresponsibilities.
