My Favorite "B" Monster Movie

I forget the movie way back in the 50's but it was a plastic lobster... I thought it was so funny.

that may have been "teenagers from outer space." (yes, there was really a movie by that title.) its monsters were lobsters, though they weren't plastic, they were just forced perspective.

It was an early version of Alien. Exact same plot

invaders from mars is a gorgeous movie.

i almost feel like "killer shrews" was trying to be some sort of "who's afraid of virginia wolf" character study. they spent so much time on focusing on everybody drinking and bickering, and so little time on the shrew-dogs, that it seems like a cheap drama rather than a proper monster movie. a bunch of the old monster movies are surprisingly talky like that. maybe because they were smart enough to realize that their monsters were ridiculous looking and they were best off showing them as little as possible.

"sound of horror" is about an invisible dinosaur. literally. an invisible dinosaur.

"sting of death" is about a man who turns himself into a jellyfish.
