Avast is great & it's free. It's all I've had on my 3k pc for the last 3 years. Not a single problem yet.

I just downloaded AVG antivirus. Might not be the best, but it works for me. Also, I think the reason it didn't find anything is because I also have Advanced System Care. The version I've got doesn't have antivirus, but it does offer real-time protection against malware, trojans, attack sites and other web based threats.
