However, the killing of homosexuals did work in a society like the kingdom of Israel, because was not democracy but theocracy in that land.

Having the social, criminal, dietetic laws and religious doctrines as one and obeyed by the king himself as well, then the law of the land was the ultimate rule.

For this reason I see no reason to be alarmed when in countries ruled in base of the laws of their religions, they do kill them. That is their culture, and regardless of how unjust or "our" established human rights established here are against those practices, we must respect them the same way we demand the same respect from them.
