Why are they failing? Content? Saturated market and competition from CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and taxpayer-funded NPR and PBS?

They ought to flip the format, go conservative and take on Fox from a business perspective because they sure are not winning from a content perspective.

They have an albatross hanging around their neck. Her show comes on in the evenings. People are done with her "cause". And her cause is singlehandedly destroying the democratic platforms that are truly worth fighting for. People don't want to be associated in any way, shape or form, with a cult that celebrates a pedophile (Harvey Milk) as their messiah.

The democratic party should look closely at MSNBC's ratings, for they are a direct reflection of their own standing in the minds of reasonable people. Manufactured polling data/smoke-and-mirrors notwithstanding.. This is what happens when you manipulate polling data to turn out a specific result. The "conclusions" don't reflect reality. And if you can't rely on polling data to reflect reality, what good was the poll for again?

There's one personality there that is dragging the rest of them down. Chris Hayes is actually one who is struggling to not look 100% of the time like he's drunk on the rainbow koolaide.
