MSNBC Politics Message Board Shut Down...

Bah!...... I need some answers and I'm getting nothing from you. Can anyone else enlighten me?

dog come on down....kick ass shit..hard to find but worth the looking

It's a very strange and unusual day here in Dogville. I may just need to down about a half bottle of Jack and just go to bed...

could be from this type of stuff

Just a side thought Pilgrim... If you Pilgrims would have shot some bobcats for that big feast with the Indians, every Thanksgiving we could eat a little pussy...

what the hell happened?

They did not post a reason for the closure that I could see, so I figure as long as I'm speculating, I'd have a lil fun with it...

  1. The Grinch stole the boards!
  2. That Beagle you were mating with complained about you advertising their relationship!
  3. Someone changed all the 1's into 2's and the board crashed!
  4. Too many wack job Republicans posting gay porn!
  5. Too many wack job Democrats posting gay porn!
  6. Too many partisan wack jobs in one area caused a sub space inversion of the virtual space time continuum and the servers vanished and the SA password got encrypted!

Do you think it might have something to do with the microsoft/yahoo deal?

Uh Jay,the Canadian boards are still open over at MSLSD. So why don't you go there right now? See Ya! :)

Big Black Dog's Warning: The day is going to come that you will regret that you elected Obama President. Begin to think for yourself now. It isn't going to turn out like you believe.

Pfft, I doubt it, no matter how much I'd disagree with Obama's policies, the Republicans offered me no viable alternative....

:clap2:seems there are crazies :cuckoo: on here also. These Bush lickers telling those of us who voted for Obama to think for ourselves Now how funny is that?

Just left a message in PP's thread here...
The UK version of our same boards are still on their feet (for now, anyway)...
Check out...
( news.uk.msn.com/opinion/message-boards )
You'll find a lot of our colleagues temporarily taking refuge over there...
Things are quiet as I write this but there's been a lot of activity there in the past 48 hours...
Folks are still in shock over it...
Don't know why...we've been speculating on the demise of those boards for months...
Folks are also beginning to leave bread-crumbs (URL's) over there, to other places to regroup...
For whatever it's worth...
Regards,
Kondor

Yikes, an invasion.

Welcome all, does anyone ever get the feeling that this has been done before and before and before....is everything always repeated....

Sites that last for years are rare things and opinions as the DI said are like .....

"But the deep background that lies behind and beyond what we call humor is revealed only to the few who, by instinct or by effort, have given thought to it. The world's humor, in its best and greatest sense, is perhaps the highest product of our civilization. Its basis lies in the deeper contrasts offered by life itself: the strange incongruity between our aspiration and our achievement, the eager and fretful anxieties of today that fade into nothingness tomorrow, the burning pain and the sharp sorrow that are softened in the gentle retrospect of time, till as we look back upon the course that has been traversed, we pass in view the panorama of our lives, as people in old age may recall, with mingled tears and smiles, the angry quarrels of their childhood. And here, in its larger aspect, humor is blended with pathos till the two are one, and represent, as they have in every age, the mingled heritage of tears and laughter that is our lot on earth." Stephen Leacock
