  • Eastern District of Virginia (703) 299-3700
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Jonathan Adonay Fuentes, aka “Cheesy” and “Crazy Boy,” 20, of Prince George’s County, Maryland, was arrested yesterday for his alleged role in a child sex trafficking ring run by the international street gang Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13).

Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and James W. McJunkin, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, made the announcement after the charges became public.

“This arrest marks the twelfth gang member we have charged with child sex trafficking,” said U.S. Attorney MacBride. “We hope gang members and other pimps realize they face serious prison time for profiting from forcing these children into sexual slavery.”

“The sex trafficking of an individual completely against their will, by force or threat of force, is a form of modern-day slavery,” said Assistant Director in Charge McJunkin. “The FBI and our partners on the Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Task Force will continue our focused effort to track down and bring to justice those who exploit our children and engage in human sex trafficking.”

Fuentes was charged by criminal complaint on September 28, 2012, with sex trafficking a minor, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison, if convicted. He was arrested on October 4, 2012, and made his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge T. Rawles Jones Jr. today.

According to court records, Fuentes is a member of the Normandie Locos Savatruch (NLS) clique of MS-13 and jointly operated with others associated with the gang a juvenile prostitution scheme for several months that trafficked at least three teen girls. Fuentes allegedly recruited prostitution customers, spoke to repeat customers, helped collect the prostitution fees, transported the victims to have sex with clients, and provided the victims with narcotics and alcohol.

Court records state that one victim, a runaway who was between the ages of 15 and 16 at the time, was forced into prostitution after MS-13 members threatened to harm her boyfriend if she did not agree to prostitute for them. During one four-week period, Fuentes allegedly helped facilitate multiple prostitution appointments for her each day, seven days per week.

This case was investigated by the FBI’s Washington Field Office, which participates in the Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Task Force. Assistant United States Attorneys G. Zachary Terwilliger and Patricia Giles are prosecuting the case on behalf of the United States.

Founded in 2004, the Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Task Force is a collaboration of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies—along with non-governmental organizations—dedicated to combating human trafficking and related crimes. From fiscal year 2011 to the present, 39 defendants have been prosecuted in 21 cases in the Eastern District of Virginia for human trafficking and trafficking-related conduct involving at least 31 victims. Twelve of those defendants were gang members or associates prosecuted for sex trafficking juveniles in northern Virginia, with sentences imposed ranging from 10 years to life imprisonment.

Criminal complaints are only charges and not evidence of guilt. A defendant is presumed to be innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Hope she finds her daughter - alive...

Argentine mom rescues hundreds of sex slaves in search for daughter
10 Dec.`12 — Susana Trimarco was a housewife who fussed over her family and paid scant attention to the news until her daughter left for a doctor's appointment and never came back.
After getting little help from police, Trimarco launched her own investigation into a tip that the 23-year-old was abducted and forced into sex slavery. Soon, Trimarco was visiting brothels seeking clues about her daughter and the search took an additional goal: rescuing sex slaves and helping them start new lives. What began as a one-woman campaign a decade ago developed into a movement and Trimarco today is a hero to hundreds of women she's rescued from Argentine prostitution rings. She's been honored with the "Women of Courage" award by the U.S. State Department and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize on Nov. 28. Sunday night, President Cristina Fernandez gave her a human rights award before hundreds of thousands of people in the Plaza de Mayo.

But years of exploring the decadent criminal underground haven't led Trimarco to her daughter, Maria de los Angeles "Marita" Veron, who was 23 in 2002 when she disappeared from their hometown in provincial Tucuman, leaving behind her own 3-year-old daughter Micaela. "I live for this," the 58-year-old Trimarco told The Associated Press of her ongoing quest. "I have no other life, and the truth is, it is a very sad, very grim life that I wouldn't wish on anyone." Her painful journey has now reached a milestone. Publicity over Trimarco's efforts prompted Argentine authorities to make a high-profile example of her daughter's case by putting 13 people on trial for allegedly kidnapping Veron and holding her as a sex slave in a family-run operation of illegal brothels. Prostitution is not illegal in Argentina, but the exploitation of women for sex is.

A verdict is expected Tuesday after a nearly yearlong trial. The seven men and six women have pleaded innocent and their lawyers have said there's no physical proof supporting the charges against them. The alleged ringleaders denied knowing Veron and said that women who work in their brothels do so willingly. Prosecutors have asked for up to 25 years imprisonment for those convicted. Trimarco was the primary witness during the trial, testifying for six straight days about her search for her daughter.

The road to trial was a long one. Frustrated by seeming indifference to her daughter's disappearance, Trimarco began her own probe and found a taxi driver who told of delivering Veron to a brothel where she was beaten and forced into prostitution. The driver is among the defendants. With her husband and granddaughter in tow, Trimarco disguised herself as a recruiter of prostitutes and entered brothel after brothel searching for clues. She soon found herself immersed in the dangerous and grim world of organized crime, gathering evidence against police, politicians and gangsters.

Sexual predator detentions decrease...
:eusa_eh:
Feds lock up fewer predators after prison sentences end
April 1, 2013 - Attempts to keep accused predators locked up have failed.
WASHINGTON – The federal government has sharply scaled back a controversial effort to keep dangerous sexual predators in prison past their sentences after losing more than half the detention cases it filed. The U.S. Justice Department has said its program is critical for protecting the public, but it has been beset by problems since it began seven years ago. Most of its attempts to keep accused predators locked up have failed. Along the way, it kept dozens of men in prison for years without a hearing, relied on medical determinations that proved faulty and faced a succession of legal battles over whether it even has the power to keep people locked up indefinitely. Even as courts are increasingly signing off on that power, prosecutors are using it far less.

Neither prosecutors nor prison officials could explain why that pace has slowed. Lawyers for some of the detainees say the government appears to be focused on bringing stronger cases it's more likely to win. "They're being much more careful in the cases they're certifying," said William Webb, a Raleigh lawyer who represents several of them. In the first two years of the program, which began in 2006, court records show the U.S. Justice Department asked judges for permission to keep 86 men locked up after prison psychologists concluded they were too dangerous and mentally ill to safely be released. In the past year, it has tried to detain only nine, including one man prosecutors had previously tried and failed to keep in prison.

Justice Department lawyers anticipate filing more cases soon. Thomas G. Walker, the U.S. attorney in Raleigh, N.C., where nearly all of the cases are filed, said he expects "a steady flow of new cases," probably totaling 15 to 20 a year — still less than half the pace when the program began. Ed Ross, a spokesman for the federal Bureau of Prisons, whose psychologists and lawyers make the initial decision about which prisoners should be detained, said he "can't speculate as to why the numbers have declined." He said the agency has not changed the way it makes those decisions, though he said the process is guided in part by federal court opinions clarifying the diagnoses and evidence that the law requires.

The detention effort targets the most dangerous and mentally ill among the thousands of convicted sex offenders serving time in federal prison. It allows prosecutors to seek a court order that will keep them in prison until psychologists or a judge decides it's safe to let them out. "This is a very serious matter, and you don't want to do this except in cases where it's crystal clear that it's necessary," said Fred Berlin, the director of the Sexual Behaviors Consultation Unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. "If we're going to do it, we have to be very careful about it. You don't want to just put people in a place where they stay indefinitely." One recently filed case involves a man who had broken into a house and sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl, who was sent to federal prison for an unrelated gun possession charge; another involves a man serving a five-year prison sentence for trying to lure someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl into a sexual relationship. Psychologists diagnosed both as pedophiles and concluded that both should remain in prison.

MS-13 Gang Member Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Trafficking

http://www.fbi.gov/washingtondc/press-releases/2012/ms-13-gang-member-pleads-guilty-to-child-sex-trafficking

U.S. Attorney’s Office November 30, 2012
  • Eastern District of Virginia (703) 299-3700
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Jonathan Adonay Fuentes, aka “Cheesy,” and “Crazy Boy,” 21, of Clinton, Maryland, pled guilty this week to sex trafficking a juvenile female as part of a prostitution enterprise operated by the violent street gang Mara Salvatrucha Thirteen (MS-13).

Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Debra Evans Smith, Acting Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, made the announcement after the plea was accepted by United States District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema.

Fuentes, an El Salvadoran-born U.S. citizen, was charged by criminal complaint on September 28, 2012, and pled guilty to sex trafficking a child on November 27, 2012. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison when he is sentenced on March 1, 2013.

“Fuentes served a critical role in this scheme as the primary driver for a young girl his gang was exploiting as a prostitute,” said U.S. Attorney MacBride. “His conviction is yet another example of our zero-tolerance policy against anyone participating in this unconscionable crime.”

“Cases such as this one bring to light the disturbing tactics used by gang members to intimidate and coerce young girls into prostitution,” said Acting ADIC Smith. “Those who prey on our youth should know that law enforcement will not rest until you are stopped and justice is served.”

According to court documents, Fuentes assisted his fellow MS-13 gang members from the fall of 2009 through the spring of 2010 run a prostitution ring that specialized in selling juvenile girls for commercial sex. Fuentes admitted in court that he transported a teen girl within Virginia and Maryland to engage in sex with clients. The large majority of appointments took place at an MS-13-controlled apartment in Maryland; however, Fuentes also prostituted the young girl at various hotels throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Gang members supplied the victim with drugs and alcohol to keep her compliant.

This case was investigated by the FBI’s Washington Field Office, with assistance from the Fairfax County Police Department and HSI. Assistant United States Attorneys Zachary Terwilliger and Patricia T. Giles are prosecuting the case on behalf of the United States.

FBI ? MS-13 Gang Member Sentenced to 120 Months for Child Sex Trafficking

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Jonathan Adonay Fuentes, aka “Cheesy” and “Crazy Boy,” 21, of Clinton, Marlyland, was sentenced to 120 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for sex trafficking a juvenile female as part of a prostitution enterprise operated by the violent street gang Mara Salvatrucha Thirteen (MS-13).

Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Valerie Parlave, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, made the announcement after sentencing by United States District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema.

Fuentes, an El Salvadoran-born U.S. citizen, pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a child on November 27, 2012.

“As the driver for MS-13, Fuentes transported a young girl to various hotels and apartments—helping the gang exploit her as a child prostitute,” said U.S. Attorney MacBride. “We have a zero-tolerance policy against anyone who makes it possible to profit from the sexual slavery of children.”

“Today’s sentence demonstrates that those who force young girls into prostitution, as well as those who allow it, will pay the price for their actions,” said Assistant Director in Charge Parlave. “Along with our law enforcement partners, the FBI will continue to ensure that anyone who commits any form of child exploitation will be pursued and punished to the fullest extent of the law.”

According to court documents, Fuentes assisted his fellow MS-13 gang members from the fall of 2009 through the spring of 2010 run a prostitution ring that specialized in selling juvenile girls for commercial sex. A lesson to be learned from Britain..

Oxford grooming gang: We will regret ignoring Asian thugs who target white girls
15 May 2013 : What a god-awful mess this country has got itself into over multiculturalism, and once again our fear of racism will lead to the betrayal of hundreds of young girls
Rochdale, Rotherham, Derby, Oxford. The towns change, but the pattern is always the same. Gangs of men, mainly of Pakistani Muslim heritage, lure white girls as young as 10 with gifts and displays of affection. Next, the girl is raped as a way of “breaking her in”. Once the child’s spirit is subdued, and her mind fogged with drugs, she is sold for sex to multiple men at £200 a time. If the girl tries to break away, a gang member might threaten to behead her or firebomb her home. Mohammed Karrar, who was found guilty in the Oxford sex-grooming case this week, took a scalding hairpin and branded one girl so she would know she was his property. Later, the gang gave the same girl a DIY abortion. She was 12 years old. And this, all this, is happening in Britain now.

In a particularly warped twist, the pimp will teach his victim that her parents are racist towards Asians, which is why they disapprove of their relationship – absolutely nothing, of course, to do with him being a violent, controlling thug. Gang members have grown wise to the wimpy ways of Western society. They exploit the fact that police, newly trained in “cultural sensitivity”, are terrified of being accused of racism. So the pimps operate with impunity until, years later, the slave girls find the courage to testify in court against their masters. We all know what happens next, don’t we? Leaders of the Pakistani Muslim community – essentially a Victorian society that has landed like Doctor Who’s Tardis on a liberal, permissive planet it despises – are at pains to deny that the grooming gang’s behaviour has anything to do with ethnic origin or contemptible attitudes towards women.

In a particularly warped twist, the pimp will teach his victim that her parents are racist towards Asians, which is why they disapprove of their relationship – absolutely nothing, of course, to do with him being a violent, controlling thug

Then Sue Berelowitz, the lamentably foolish deputy children’s commissioner, trots out her lame line that Asian men targeting white girls is “just one of a number of models”, even though such “models” account for an improbably large proportion of all gang sexual abuse. Did Berelowitz not hear Nazir Afzal, Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England, when he blamed “imported cultural baggage” for appalling crimes by members of his own community? “The men think that women are some lesser being,” he said. The chief constable who was in charge while all that torture and rape was going on in Oxford appeared on Radio 4’s Today programme yesterday and said that she took “full responsibility” for shocking police failures. But, no, Sara Thornton, head of Thames Valley Police, would not be resigning. Why ever not?

Because saying you take responsibility is the new not taking responsibility, stupid. All that remains is for the panel on tonight’s Question Time to do a little gentle hand-wringing about the Oxford horrors before it concludes that no particular group is implicated in these vile, misogynistic crimes. And, once again, the fear of racism will have trumped sexism, and hundreds of young girls – or the “hollow shells” of girls, as one tearful copper called them – will be betrayed. Then we can all sit back comfortably and wait till the next hideous court case comes along, probably in Bradford, where at least 30 men have been arrested in the past few months over child sex-grooming allegations. Sue Berelowitz may believe the perpetrators could turn out to be Buddhist podiatrists. But I wouldn’t count on it.

Although I'm usually against the death penalty, on this particular crime I feel compelled to make an exception. Slavery, expecially sexual slavery, is so morally offensive that it demands no other punishment but crucifiction. People's lives and souls are destroyed by kidnap and slavery, and the families of the missing endure a form of mental torture that I can't even begin to comprehend. The truth is that those muslim bastards - along with anyone who possesses an ounce of common sense - knew full well that any investigation into their crimes would be stalled by "cultural sensitivity".

150 arrested in child prostitution sweep...
Child prostitution: Raids rescue 105 young people
Jul 29,`13 WASHINGTON (AP) -- Declaring child prostitution a "persistent threat" in America, the FBI said Monday that authorities had rescued 105 young people and arrested 150 alleged pimps in a three-day sweep in 76 cities.
The agency said it had been monitoring Backpage.com and other websites as a prominent online marketplace for sex for sale. Backpage.com said that it was "very, very pleased" by the raids and that if the website were shut down to the advertisements, the ads would be pushed to sites that wouldn't cooperate with law enforcement. The young people in the roundup, almost all of them girls, ranged in age from 13 to 17.

The largest numbers of children rescued in the weekend initiative, Operation Cross Country, were in the San Francisco Bay and Detroit areas, along with Milwaukee, Denver and New Orleans. The operation was conducted under the FBI's decade-long Innocence Lost National Initiative. The latest rescues and arrests were the largest such enforcement action to date. "Child prostitution remains a persistent threat to children across the country," Ron Hosko, assistant director of the bureau's criminal investigative division, told a news conference. "We're trying to put this spotlight on pimps and those who would exploit."

In Operation Cross Country, federal, state and local authorities cooperated in an intelligence effort aimed at identifying pimps and their young victims. The FBI said the campaign has resulted in rescuing 2,700 children since 2003. The investigations and convictions of 1,350 individuals have led to life imprisonment for 10 pimps and the seizure of more than $3.1 million in assets. In their efforts to identify child victims, investigators seek help wherever they can find it - in some cases from adult prostitutes, Hosko said. He said almost all the victims in sweeps like the one over the weekend are girls and that the profiles of the victims cut across racial lines and boundaries of wealth. Social media are a common denominator in many of the rescues.

Last year, five members of the Underground Gangster Crips contacted teens at school or through Facebook, DateHookUp.com or other online social networking sites, enticing the girls to use their looks to earn money through prostitution. As for websites, Liz McDougall, the general counsel for Backpage.com, said that if that site were shut down to the advertisements in question, the information that can lead to the rescues would be lost to law enforcement because the ads would be pushed to "offshore uncooperative websites." "We feel very strongly that we're doing the right thing, and we're going to continue to do the right thing and we congratulate the FBI and everybody with the task forces involved in the program," said McDougall. In earlier sweeps, child prostitution victims have been recovered at major sporting events - including the NCAA Final Four and Super Bowl, Hosko said.

I mentioned on another thread I was channel surfing and hit the local parole interviews. "Hispanics" are quite often sex offenders (sex with children) more than anything else. Might have been a weird interview series, but very troubling nevertheless.

Prison for slavers?

Death seems about right for that crime.

That would end the sex slave business. Then where would our elected leaders, political leaders from other countries being entertained, etc get their sex party participants from? You see, these little 21 yr old punks are getting away with kidnapping, rape, of an under age child - with a slap on the wrist because they are procuring these underage girls for people such as the State Dept US Ambassador to Beglium who was caught buying underage girls in Belgium, photographed with children, reported on by FBI only to have State Dept Head Hillary Clinton shut it down and let him keep his job!!! Why? Because our US Ambassador to Belgium is a sick paedophile according to the kids he has had sex with and Belgian political leaders are the most infamous paedophiles of all INCLUDING THE BELGIAN KING who has sex parties to rape & sodomize children as young as 4 and 5 yrs old. Hillary knows how to pick them and so our US Ambassador to Belgium will now continue to have sex with underage kids in Belgium while he is on "business over there" and the Belgians leaders will continue to hail him the greatest US Ambassador ever - their favorite they say - because............birds of a feather flock together.

Alexandria, Va? Ha. These girls are being sold to political and military folks for their sexual kicks. The REAL SEX RING OPERATORS work for AND with the govt and state dept. Please wake up Americans. This totally Wreaks of a COVERUP. Go look up Franklin Coverup story of politicians trafficking child sex slaves and you will see there is no way this ends with a 20 yr old gang member. RIDICULOUS. - Jeri

Don't count on these victims to ever give a press interview. They tell who their clients are and everyone in Washington would be running for the hills. They will surely claim they need pysch evaluations for next ten years or force them into silence so they don't tell who these "CLIENTS" are. For the ones that rape and molest babies they go to Child Protection Services Contacts and can procure a child from them. It is well known CPS is used as an avenue for govt officials who need children for their sex parties. Been going on for years. That is a fact. CPS is a very evil corrupt organization that is kidnapping children and selling them to predators - ALL FOR PROFIT. Many horror stories coming out about Child Protection Agency in Texas, California, Georgia, all over. Time to shut these people down!!!

Burn them at the stake in the public commons

Death to all slavers.

It will never happen. It is a government protected business! ALL THE WAY. Where else will these guys get their sex from with underage kids? We have a govt full of perverts, paedophiles, they get their kids from CPS - Child Protection Services too by having that group kidnap the children from their own parents and then they use the law to do it.

Don't expect the woman who beat kid to death CPS to get a hard term if she was giving kids to political figures on the sly. She will get a tap on the wrist - and get away with it just as the MS 13 guy is going to get less than 5 yrs for kidnap, rape, of a minor and forced prostitution of minors on multiple charges. Watch who the judges are -write their names down, follow the trail.. it is corrupt all the way to the top..
