"Mr. President, you don't believe in the Constitution. You believe in socialism."

Well essentially given I work for the private sector..and you work for the public sector..you've got my shirt.

How's it fit? Probably a little big.
You know what the difference between the military and Democrat vote-buying entitlement programs is?

The military earns their money.

Some do..some don't.

I've known plenty of slackers that were in the military.

Present company..excluded...of course.

IT is tough work no matter how you slice it.
It is. And it weeds out the slackers.

poor insane whining eagle.

What is the difference between 'investing' and 'spending' in Government-Speak?

The same difference in private industry. I did a tremendous amount of 'Investment' at work last year, which included a vast majority of deficit spending. Now the company is more solvent than ever.

Sometimes, it is the correct answer.

There you go...misusing socialism as your go-to word when you need a filler in your sentence.

WTF man. Get the definition and apply it correctly.

WTF yourself....stop splitting hairs then...we'll just say FDR was a flat out socialist and be done with it...

You are seriously one of the most brain-dead people on this forum. I don't say that lightly. There are a lot of brain-dead idiots around here. (And no they aren't anyone who disagrees with me...I rather respect some people that I disagree with around here)

I posted a laundry list of socialism's requirements and goals...NONE of them applied you fucking fuckidy fuck.

Here's a clue about how to respond to people's posts.

1. Read the post...dont just start typing about what you think they said
2. Apply reason and logic to your analysis of what they say
3. Either disprove or approve based on the analysis.

Regardless, you simply shouldnt be talking about such matters if you can't keep up.

I doubt if your investment consisted of programs which shut down production and revenue, however.

Cop out. Which makes me feel pretty good about what I said.

AllieBaba: "I doubt if your investment consisted of programs which shut down production and revenue, however."

That is the cop out. You don't make the connection, and until you do, your point makes no sense.

The Obama and his Comrades in Arms is the biggest threat to our freedoms that we have EVER SEEN..

If you people don't wake up soon, we are screwed.

The authority of the sovereign state lies solely in its indispensable role in promoting the general welfare of all persons, as Genesis I, and the Christian apostolic mission define all persons, as made equally in the image of the Creator of the Universe, and thus equally subjects of the obligation to promote the welfare of both the living and their posterity.
Only sovereign government has the means to promote the conditions of the general welfare respecting all of the people and all of the land-area, both for the living and future generations, and that thus, the existence of such sovereign nation-state republics is shown to be the morally required condition of mankind.

WOW! Who knew?

You are absolutely wrong. No big surprise.

I bolded the relevant parts for you..

Notice you bold only a part of the phrase, like most believers in socialist style government do

The general welfare OF THE UNITED STATES... AKA the UNION... not each and every person down on their luck within the United States

Really?? Are you actually serious about this post?

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union..."
When the Constitution means the states themselves, it uses terms like "several states" or "United States". When it means individuals, it says "people" or "persons". Read the 2nd amendment, for example.

Actually no.

People are the collective.

Person is the indivdual.

So tweeted Representative Paul Broun MD (R-GA) from his office during the SOTU...telling it like it is...
We've got some Dems who can do the same.....

"Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) said racism is to blame for Democrats' losses this past election cycle in an interview with an Arab TV network after President Obama's State of the Union address.

The Virginia Democrat told Alhurra that Republicans gained 63 seats in the House "for the same reason the Civil War happened in the United States."

"The Civil War happened because the Southern states, particularly the slaveholding states, didn't want to see a president who was opposed to slavery," Moran said. "In this case a lot of people in this country, I believe, don't want to be governed by an African American, particularly one who is inclusive, who is liberal, who wants to spend money on everyone and who wants to reach out to include everyone in our society."
