Mr. President,Where Is Your Debt Plan Sir?...

But thanks for holding the frail economy hostage for fanatic ideology, with NO DETAILS on where your spending cuts will take place, off in the future. Great job Pubbies. Jobs, jobs, jobs! Pffffft!!

The house passed a bi-partisan bill(the only bill so far) and Ideology killed it in the senate.

Correction...

The senate didnt kill it. One man, the senate majority leader, killed it. Did not allow a debate nor did he allow a vote.
Yes, such is legal and consitutional.......but to me it is bullshit.

Same reason the Pubs' plans haven't been released to the public- there ARE no detailed plans, and he's the PRESIDENT- but thanks for the Foxcrappe.

A freaking GOP bill was drafted and voted on by the house.......AND PASSED.

What do you mean "the pubs plan hasnt been released"....

How can one be on this board and debate when one has no freaking idea of what is real and what is rhetoric?

Jeez man...you are really pathetic.

Why do people so mis/un-informed come on message boards about political current events?

IM sorry man...I repeated pretty much what you said......before I read your post...

Yea his Propaganda Minister says the Hopey Changey One does have a plan but he wont put it on paper. WTF kind of shit is that? This President is becoming a joke now. I guess the Golf Course is calling again. No time to put his "plan" on paper.

WASHINGTON — President Obama made the case Wednesday for slowing the rapid growth of the national debt while retaining core Democratic values, proposing a mix of long-term spending cuts, tax increases and changes to social welfare programs as his opening position in a fierce partisan budget battle over the nation’s fiscal challenges.

Mr. Obama said his proposal would cut federal budget deficits by a cumulative $4 trillion over 12 years, compared with a deficit reduction of $4.4 trillion over 10 years in the Republican plan. But the president said he would use starkly different means, rejecting the fundamental changes to Medicare and Medicaid proposed by Republicans and relying in part on tax increases on affluent Americans.

The president framed his proposal as a balanced alternative to the Republican plan, setting the stage for a debate that will consume Washington in coming weeks, as the administration faces off with Congress over raising the national debt ceiling, and into next year, as the president runs for re-election.

But go a head and pretend he hasn't or that the GOP is willing to compromise.

Pretty mysterious plan. No one's ever seen it. His own Propaganda Minister has even admitted it doesn't exist. Just put it on paper so the American People can see it. At least Boehner and others have put their plans out there in Public for scrutiny. Now that's brave leadership. This President is obviously scared to put his plan on paper and release it to the Public. He's absolutely terrified people might criticize it. He's no leader. And i don't care what you Hopey Changey sheep say.

Are you serious? That article is from April 13, but besides the article being dated in a quickly moving debate, the President of the US--Barack Obama his administration does not have a plan. There is nothing put on paper, unlike the GOP which has passed their plan in the House.

There is a bi-partisan plan that contains zero tax increases and has provisions for supposed cuts.

Did you watch the video in the OP? That was two days ago. TWO DAYS AGO Obama's press secretary admitted there is no Obama plan, it's all talk, nothing on paper. Not an actual plan.

His Propaganda Minister said again today that the President does have a plan but he wont put it on paper. Man,what a scam. This guy doesn't have a clue. Seriously, how did he become President? I don't see any leadership with this President.

Put it on paper and it's harder to lie about, and change the message to suit the audience.:eusa_liar:

You got that right.

Thats why you haven't see anything he has written on public view. If you believe he has a plan that is.

Right now he's playing politics with his scare tactics on the debt ceiling.

He encouraged folks to call their representatives to complain about Congress. Funny thing that. There were millions of calls on that clusterfuck Obamacare but he Pelosi and Reid ignored those calls. Now all of a sudden your phone call is supposed to matter?? Your call is supposed to be important??

What a hypocrite.

A freaking GOP bill was drafted and voted on by the house.......AND PASSED.

The existence of a bill doesn't imply a detailed plan (i.e. one with specifics).

Does it hurt you to be so mindlessly unaware of reality?

"A House vote on Speaker John Boehner’s two-step plan to raise the U.S. debt ceiling was postponed amid growing Republican opposition to the measure that the Obama administration has threatened to veto.

The plan, which would cut $3 trillion in government spending, was faced with new questions about its impact. House Rules Committee Chairman David Dreier, a California Republican, said he adjourned his panel tonight “to ensure the product we have is in full compliance” with the pledge Boehner has made to cut spending more than the increase in borrowing authority." (Obama Threatens to Veto Boehner)

Having a plan on paper--a bill if you will--open to the public and making the rounds on all news shows is in fact specifics.

Which is more specific--Obama constantly changing speeches which apparently is his plan, or the bill voted and passed by the House?

"The Congressional Budget Office earlier today estimated that it would save less than advertised. Boehner’s plan is intended to make $1.2 trillion in spending cuts in a first phase and up to $1.8 trillion in a second step, with those cuts to be proposed by a special congressional committee. CBO said today the first phase would save about $850 billion and couldn’t score the second."

Where do you think the CBO got the information to make those projection? THE F-ING BILL

Despite what the corrupt Liberal Media is pushing,Boehner and others have actually shown much more leadership than this President has. The President supposedly has this mysterious plan he wont put on paper. Say Whaa?? That makes absolutely no sense. He's behaving like a coward in my opinion. He wont put his plan on paper because he's deathly afraid of criticism. That's what it's all about in the end. Sorry Hopey Changeys, your guy aint no leader.

huh?

So you are saying 3 democrats voted for a bill with no details?

You are aware, of course, that such crap is a real stretch and just makes you look as foolish as the guy who said the GOP did not reveal the details of their plan.....?

Perhaps we have different conceptions of what a detailed proposal is. I don't consider setting a cap (means to achieve that cap TBD) and creating a "Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction" to find almost $2 trillion in savings to be a particularly detailed plan. The reality is that all of these plans contain a lot of hand-waving.

Have none of you looked at any of the proposals floating around? Even the famous Ryan budget was greatly lacking in specificity and filled in the gaps with hand-waving. These "plans" leave a lot to be filled in.

Yes...they are not 1700 page bills...but they are specific in what is to be done (accroding to the law if it were passed)...and how it is done is something that a committee would determine.

To me, that is specific enough...and to be honest.....perhaps oif the stimulus bill (turned law) was LESS specific and only a few pages, the "committee" would have assigned the money to ONLY shovel ready jobs that proved they were shovel ready before the money was assigned to them.

Instead, entities got money becuase the law said they were to get the money...and THEN they did squat with it.

Hey, you will orgasm when it's passed and you find out how brilliant it is. Just ask 'em.

What you cant/ Its only lip service? Why did you post?

Yup. The same bill that idiot Reid will not let come to the floor of the Seante for debate and a vote. The same one he says is DOA.

Who's that holding up the works again???
