GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas MP Ismail Al-Ashqar said that the government of premier Ismail Haneyya is to ask for a vote of confidence at the Palestinian legislative council on Thursday after reshuffling its members.
Another Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri said that the cabinet reshuffle followed intensified consultations over the past months with all national factions and forces. He said that Hamas champions political partnership.
Masri revealed that the new cabinet line-up would include a portfolio for women affairs. He said that the PLC would grant confidence to the new government, adding that any government without PLC endorsement was illegitimate.
