Where is all the observed evidence impacting the people who make public policy that might effect the "extreme" weather? The evidence is they are not giving a crap. So, in fact, it's like the science is nothing more than an academic exercise. A veritable hobby.

Everything is about the politics. Everything. This view that extreme weather is related to CO2 is embraced by relatively few ( thus, the politics !! ). Of course, this is highly disconcerting to those who embrace the alarmist view, but it is what it is. There is astounding evidence to support that a huge majority of the public doesn't get all angst about extreme weather. At a minimum they know there isn't dick we can do to control it.
