It was sort of mean that they're getting Kerry to stand in for Romney in the debate practice.

Obama's team is trying to lower expectations. At this rate they don't need to win so if they can try to manufacture a perceived draw in the contests; that is a win for them. Romney needs to hit a home run and it likely won't make a difference anyway.

We've seen both of them debate in the past. Obama has a small advantage but neither one of them lights any fires. I just don't see Romney gaining any ground at this point. The cards have been on the table for quite some time and most voters have made up their minds already. Romney needs to see gas prices jump to $5 per gallon. Outside of that, I think he's finished.
