Personally i believe if the builders of this large Mosque really wanted to extend a hand of peace, love, and tolerance they would decide to build it somewhere else. Anything less seems like an act of aggression in my opinion. I really am interested in hearing how you all feel about this. Thanks.

Prepare to be called a bigot by ModTurd and his ilk who claim to be tolerant, and are if you agree with them.

lol! Always prepared for Socialist/Progressive nutter labels. I consider their labels badges of honor.

In the west we are under the illusion that Islam is a religion.
It is a street gang that essentially beat the police and has thrived since.
Islam should be treated like the cosa nostra or the the crips and the bloods

The only act of aggression would be if the government told them they can't have a mosque on their own property.

They should just do the right thing and build this large Mosque somewhere else. That's another way. This does seem like an act of aggression to me.

Maybe they should, if for no other reason than to avoid the hysterical nonsense that's started up because of it. However, I don't see anything remotely aggressive about building a mosque on your own property just because it's close to Ground Zero. They have every right to do it, and that should really be the end of the so-called controversy. Any attempt to stop them, whether by private citizens or by government, would be a far worse act of aggression than the offense that some people feel towards them.

It's almost like they're saying "F*ck You America! Here we come!" This same thing happened in London. They are now of course called Londonistan. Is New Yorkistan coming? Scary thought huh?

no matter what we think of it, does anyone doubt how the enemy will spin it?

wasn't that the big argument against gitmo? it was a recruiting tool for al qaeda?

and this mosque won't be?

Since I doubt very seriously that the people building this mosque are in any way connected to al-Qaeda, I'm guessing that's not what they're saying at all.

Considering that AMERICAN MUSLIMS showed up today to PROTEST this mosque being built at Ground Zero--states that THEY believe this mosque is to honor the suicide bombers.--much like they do in Iran.

If they're suspicious for the reasons that the mosque is being built here--then maybe we should be too?

Those are just the stupid Muslims who don't understand the violent factions within their own religion.

Yea that whole "Tolerance" thing just seems way over-rated to me at this point. They said the exact same things in London before they became Londonistan. Their Leftists went out there and called everyone "Bigots" and "Islamophobes" and said that it could never happen there. Well it did happen there. They now have some of the most vile radical Muslims on the Planet. So i don't mind being called a "Bigot" or "Islamophobe" by our Leftists here. We're just repeating history in my opinion. Why would we repeat the same tragic mistakes they made in London? I just don't understand it. It's so insane.
