GAZA, (PIC)-- Egyptian president Dr. Mohammed Morsi congratulated Palestinian premier in Gaza Ismail Haneyya on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

Morsi, who reached Haneyya over the phone on Sunday, reaffirmed the firm relations between Egypt and Palestine and renewed his country’s backing to Gaza.

Haneyya, for his part, congratulated Morsi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the Eidul fitr.

He reiterated his government’s readiness to cooperate with Egypt in the security field and appreciated Egypt’s honorable stands in support of the Palestinian people.
