...but they've always been AWOL on the abortion fight.

The reason they don't care about the wholesale slaughter of human innocents in the womb is because they don't believe babies in the womb have souls yet.

This fundamental flaw in Mormon theology makes them bystanders in the abortion wars.

Very few same-sex relationships require an abortion.

As pointed out Mormons are pro-life and not pro-choice...

They are more into controlling the media content of their membership and putting out their opinion that way than getting into your face and screaming " you will burn in hell "...

You should watch some of their movies...

Then again maybe not because it is weird...

Well. They can also redefine that homosexuality is acceptable if someone has a vision or a prophecy differently, as we see. Because this is how Mormonism was founded. This is how they backed away from polygamy. Etc.

It's just how it is.

Well polygamy was practiced by the prophets of God
Homosexuality was not
So it’s not how it is

You are correct. Polygamy is not how marriage is intended, as laid out in Genesis and by Jesus Christ. But homosexuality is counted at sin. And those two are different.

They were different then
But both sins today cost you your salvation

Well. In works-based faiths, yes.

The practice of polygamy in the ancient days among Jews isn't what modern people imagine it was. It wasn't what the Mormons practiced, either.

No, according to the Bible

The 'polygamy' of the OT is just the means of providing legal status for widows and the like, not as in some guy building a harem or anything, as modern people assume it to mean. It was a family cohesion thing and protection for single women in a culture where their legal status was limited or non-existent without a husband or father to represent them as part of a clan and tribe. the 'polygamy' of the ancient Jewish laws is not what Mormons practiced, not even close. They claim otherwise, but they're wrong. the term 'wives' is misleading in translations.

Did a lot of them abuse the intent? Yes, most likely; they abused everything else, so what's new?. Was their abuse biblically sanctioned? Not even close.

Your sins are not greater than the Savior. If they are, then Christianity is just one more in a human-made, works-based religion. The sins are great. The works are great. God is not that great. That's works-based religion.

Christianity is not that. Thank God.
