Yeah they're coming out in droves Sunni boy..Although generally liberal democrats have more sympathies with the Arabs then conservative Republicans. The only reason more don't come out like this is because most of the American people are on the right side and side with our ally Israel

We strong arm the entire middle east for them and all they do with their military power that WE GAVE TO THEM is hoard it for their own selfish purposes.

Don't be so dense. Can you really not see why we are in Israel?
Simply put, there is no better way to influence the landscape of the middle east than to have a dog over there doing it for us. Without Israel there, we would not have a way to put that kind of hardware and personnel on site without numerous other problems so we help Israel do it for us. We are no longer in a world where we can isolate ourselves. All nations take part in this game, influencing the world landscape through third parties. That is what alliances are about: supporting people that are closer to our agenda and ideals than the other guys are. As long as Israel exists, it exerts a force over there that keeps the Islamic nations in check.
You may not agree with the tactics used but to say this is a one way street is rather idiotic and ignores the reason that we are there in the first place. Interesting that I see all these threads on Israel but never on South Korea! The theory in both places is very similar even if the execution is not.
To the poster that mention we do not even have a military base there. That is the point. We do not want the enormous cost and, even more so, the attention that our military brings. Much easier to let the Israelis handle it with a couple of our 'gifts.' It does not hurt that they are the best trained military in the world either.
