Now the nearby Brayton Point coal-fired generating plant has been sold and the new owners have declined to commit any capacity to the grid after a fixed date (I think it's beyond 2015 but I may be off on that). They have other plans for the site which apparently do not include electrical generation.

Nothing is being planned to replace the lost capacity.

Also good excersize getting up on 20 foot ladder in the dead of winter to sweep the snow/ice off the panels..
