It's Boston. They want bigger, more controlling government. I'm sure they only want what's best for the people.

If the police want a new power or authority ALWAYS resist it. Make them prove the necessity for the infringement on your liberty. That doesn't mean you dislike cops, that's a bit of an old chestnut which is total crap. Cops enforce the law, YOU get to say what the law is through your legislators. Don't ever let cops take control of the legislative process..

The Police have never really gotten over the Rodney King cam corder thing.

More and more often its becoming clear how often law enforcement mismuse authority and now they want to make sure you can't prove it.
