Rodney Kingism?… obviously they can do what they want, I don’t give two shits…
With political correctness/socialism/communism running amuck this is so very predictable...
Careful what you wish for… Snowflakes. Your safe spaces might disappear. LOL

Starbucks Restrooms Open for All Visitors

Starbucks should have a crowd settle there, occupy every seat and table and not leave.

What exactly is communist about bathrooms being able to be used by all?
There is an mall in downtown Seattle that has an ongoing problem with the homeless coming onto the property, some of whom use it for illicit activities although they often would just want to use the restrooms, recharge their mobile devices and maybe just rest for a moment or two. One of the primary concerns was the addicts using the restrooms to shoot up.

From a security standpoint it becomes more difficult to protect a property or their customers who frequent the establishments within when anyone off the streets can come in and just loiter. I've seen security evict individuals from the mall, maybe because of past encounters, even when they made a purchase from the food court and I've observed individuals who were obviously not customers rolling through a very high end, well known & exclusive jewelry store, checking out the security cameras and attempting to ask questions about security protocols, at times making threats and causing a disruption.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if anyone will test Starbucks' new policy because they essentially have gone from being a private property for the service and convenience of their customers (free wi-fi for example) retaining the right to deny anyone service, within the law of course, as do all private companies, to a public facility that is open to all unless in their new policy they still retain the right to refuse service or remove individuals from the property for specific reasons such as being disruptive, engaging in unlawful activity on the property, etc.

Teaching their employees about the laws surrounding places of public accomodations and not to be presumptuous racists or bigots, in my opinion, would have been the better course of action. I just fear that they're going to get sued for some totally bogus reason and in the interim the criminal element will take complete advantage of this new policy to the detriment of both the company and their customers.

And yet, christians refuse to help the homeless. Churches lock their doors tight against people who actually need their help. All that property they don't pay taxes on sits empty. The billions we are forced to spend on their damn holidays could actually go toward doing what Jesus taught.

Never happen though. Especially now with the creepy fundies hate groups trying to force us all to bow to their beliefs.

Why do conservatives obsess so much about peeing?

They're always talking about wanting to LOOK at other people's pee pees.

Disgusting perves.

They have a lot to hide so they have to act like they're against it in order to prove to themselves that the truth isn't the reality.

Look at all the priest and assholes like Roy Moore, Trump, etc.

So they rage against sex, porn and everything in order to make people not to look at them.

There was a show on TV last night that I wasn't actually paying much attention to until I realized they were discussing the recent vote on the Seattle Head Tax that was just approved. I don't know who all of the panelists were but one of them was a representative of one of the Jewish communities that has been having problems with the homeless invading and trashing their cemeteries to the cost of $110,000 for cleanup. One the things that he mentioned was that he wanted to know why they could not house some of the homeless in some of the abandoned or unused warehouses around the city and was told that they couldn't allow people to shelter there because of the zoning restrictions. .

If there is a crisis when it comes to sheltering the homeless, are they not able to issue an emergency order to temporarily override the zoning issue in order to house them? If these are abandoned warehouses or in areas where there are no other companies conducting business then it's not like their presence there would disturb anyone unless I'm missing something?

I don't know about the churches but the Jewish community has an homeless shelter for women in one of its downtown synagogues - they're open roughly from the middle of fall to the middle of spring, basically during the coldest weather. Many of the women there, if you didn't know they were homeless you'd never guess they were.

There are homeless who work. I see it all the time.

RWNJs say minimum wage jobs are for teenagers.

Meanwhile, trump is sending more and more jobs out of the country and paying more and more foreigners and undocumented here and making his own crap in other countries.

Its inexcusable that our children are hungry and homeless.

Remembering when that vile jackass Joel Osteen didn't want to open his mega church after the flood.

Rustic obviously gives a lot more shits than he says he does.

Glad to see Starbucks' making policy changes but bizarre that they have to do the obvious. After all, isn't this still the United States?
Lol
I think it’s funny, first of all I don’t go to Starbucks they are shit holes. Second of all only a fool thinks we have any real freedom in this country...

You have no proof that ol’ Joel is a Christian, And even if he was why do you give a fuck about other people’s property and the use of it?
A control freak like yourself seems to be so insecure that you can’t tolerate anybody disagreeing with you. You know that makes you? A fucking pussy
