Interior proposes six new Texas endangered species listings.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) under the Department of Interior has proposed six west Texas species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in the Federal Register. The six west Texas species are the Phantom Cave snail, the Phantom springsnail, the diminutive amphipod, the Diamond Y Spring snail, the Gonzales springsnail, and the Pecos amphipod.
