Yes, we left Houston at 6:30 so it was close to 8 Vegas time. That is why they came out so well, the sun was low in the sky casting great shadows without glare. The clouds were the main reason I took the shot. Used a Nikon D70 for the shots from the plane, just 6 megapixel.
