FACTS ABOUT URANUS


Uranus is a smaller version of Jupiter

Uranus's atmosphere is remarkably bland in comparison to the other gas giants,

The wind speeds on Uranus can reach 250 meters per second (900 km/h, 560 mph).[18]

The faint bluish color of the planet is because the methane gas

It rotates on its side and so half the time one pole is toward the sun

It has faint rings and a number of moons.

Uranus is the only planet called by a Greek name
