Just read another article in Space.com where scientists are struggling like all hellman to come up with a theory to explain Earth's Moon.

The working theory is that a Mars sized body slammed into and vaporized the Earth, don't laugh, which then reformed as Earth and the debris field of this imaginary impact then formed as the Moon, but, somehow, no trace of the impact or body makes up the moon, it's the exact same elements as Earth.

These convoluted theories come into being because we have to find a way to account for the Moon being there in the first place. it's far too large and the orbit is to weird to be explained by "normal" means. Astrophysicist Irwin Shapiro once told his class to treat the moon as an "observational error" it has no business being where it is.

The far more likely explanation is that some of the Earth crust was stripped away to make an artifical satellite that would give the Earth oceans and a Moore to hold its orbit steady.

I don't know WHO did that, only that it explains all the facts

It all happened while the planets were molten.

Jupiters moon doesn't orbit it, they both wobble around each other.

None of Jupiter's moons are 1/4 of the size of Jupiter

Scientists are not "struggling" to explain the moon. The OP is a dimwit.
