She arrived in the country three months ago, already with child.
Did she know that her baby would become a citizen upon birth?
Did she have knowledge about the baby safe haven law?
If so, why the hell did she toss her newborn infant out the damn window?

I assume she was frightened, being in a new country and all but my God!
That poor little baby.

I have never heard of an immigrant, after immigrating to the US for a better life, killing their baby to save it from the horrors of living as an American.

I assume she was either crazy, on drugs, afraid of what somebody else was going to do to her if they found out she had a kid, or just didn't want the kid.
