If you were a HS Junior or Senior, white, Hispanic, or Black, where would the University of Missouri be on your "wish list" of colleges to attend?
If white, would you want to go somewhere where less than 1/7 of the student population is able to bring the U to its knees complaining about possibly imaginary slights which have minimal connection to the University itself?
If a "minority" would you want to attend a school where the existing "minority" population claims that it is continuously subjected to intolerable indignities?
If a sports fan, would you want to go to a school that minority athletes will, for the foreseeable future, avoid like the plague.
If a conscientious student, would you want to go to a University where the Chancellor resigns at the first sign of discomfort from a student group - before any real investigation has even been completed? Or where a few student-athletes - who probably don't even belong in any university, based on academic bona fides - can bring the school's sports programs to a screeching halt - and not jeopardize their scholarships.
If I were a "rising HS senior" Mizzou would be directly below "Bob's College of Hair Design" on my wish list.
