at least some people can realize that the GOP is the enemy of the working man. Big union win in a very red state.

Stupid Dems should focus on this type of stuff. They can lure a lot of voters back to the blue .

Unions notch win: Deep-red Missouri rejects right-to-work law - CNNPolitics

NN)Missouri voters handed the state's unions and the labor movement nationwide a win Tuesday evening, opting to reject the state's right-to-work law.

Tuesday's referendum in the state gave voters the chance to strike down a law the state Legislature passed last year that would prohibit employees from being forced to join a union or to otherwise pay "fair share" fees to a given workplace's union. Rules like this are commonly referred to as "right-to-work" laws, a

You're obviously a bigot opposed to identity politics. Ask Kamala Harris.

The people in Missouri are going to regret this decision a few years down the road when companies are building new plants in other states that are RTW, or existing companies will leave Missouri for RTW states instead of expanding their existing factories. Oh yeah, it'll be good for those who have a union job, but there'll be a number of others who will lose their job or see their hours and benefits decline. Which some companies will do if the union contract allows it, or they'll start making plans to leave Missouri.

I'm okay with this, it's up to the voters in Missouri to decide what they want to do about unions and RTW in their state. But it ain't nation-wide, if other RTW states want to repeal the RTW laws, then that's their business. But you can be sure of one thing, there will be adverse consequences if they do what Missouri did.

Give them a break.

Wasn't all that long ago they elected a dead man, and sent his widow to DC

What’s the big problem in the economy ? Wages ! Has been for a while . Working man gets stiffed while the executives get paid .

That goes along with the decline in unions .

Be nice to Missouri... I have a cousin who is a guest of the State Penitentiary... He was upset with the wife and the boyfriend... You just don't do that to a man's wife in his bed... :Boom2:

Unions are in decline for one reason and one reason only - US companies cannot pay union wages and still compete with foreign competitors or those in a RTW state. That is the reality, Lefties can piss and moan about wages all day long but it won't change the fact that an American company cannot pay an American worker 10 times what a foreign company pays their workers and expect to be competitive. Whatever the CEOs and executives get paid is irrelevant, once you get past the top 300 or so big CEOs the difference isn't that great. You could cut their salaries by half and still not get enough money to pay the employees more than a few cents a piece.

There has been a systematic war against union for years . Lead by the gop.

Companies have been thriving in America while the working man has been left behind .
