Mitt whizzes into Wis. lead

Buh-bye Barrack :eusa_whistle:

WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney leads President Obama for the first time in the swing state of Wisconsin, according to a new poll released yesterday.

One week after Republican Gov. Scott Walker scored a huge victory in beating back a recall effort by union-backed Democrats, Romney polled 47 percent to Obama’s 44 percent, according to Rasmussen Reports.

Obama won the Badger State with 56 percent of the vote in 2008.

Post recall bump. That's all.

It is a helluva bump though. We'll have to see if it sticks come September.

Recall? What recall? Oh right.. the one Chris said Walker would lose, and then be indicted for other non-specified crimes. Forgot all about that ;)
They're still trying to go "Full Palin" on him, but well... now they have their own problems of ethical breeches and other potential criminal charges against the Milwaukee DA and all things attached.

I thought you were talking about Mittens "whizzes into Wis. lead." There's only one poll in the last ten that shows him leading there. Rassmussen's last poll done in the end of March shows Obama leading by 11. Did you notice the smallish sample size? A 4.5% MOE, is pretty shabby to take to the back. I doubt you even know what that means. But if it lubes your cogs, enjoy yourself.

Yes, he closed an 11 point lead that Obama had! That's pretty much whizzing~

He did? I still have to gather that you're too dumb to know what margin of error means. Are you stupid, or just a liar?

It's not possible to be both?

You seem to be under a illusion that the people of Wisconsin love Walker. Damn, you're dumb.
AS a Wisconsinite in the middle of this recall... yes... we DO love Walker and what he's done in the state and desire him to not only finish his term but EXPAND his programs in getting this state fiscally stable again without picking our pockets.

You've mistaken out of state special interests, an exceedingly petulant and insane minority of entitlement junkies which represents less than 10% of the population as the majority opinion.

Just because the media has a vested interest to make any contest look competative so they can get a larger share of the audience and is in the tank for the minority entitlement junkies (aka WEAC and AFSCME) doesn't mean that they are the true majority opinion.

they loved him enough for him to win the recall election with a wider margin than he was first elected by. Damn, you're a partisan asshat.

That Walker won the recall election isn't nearly as important as the fact that he won the recall by a wider margin than he originally won the election that made him governor.

Romney has the momentum.

The plurality loved the system enough to not dump a douchebag without at least an indictment. That's not love, that's pragmatism. That's why the DNC nor Obama really got behind the recall. But if that's your fantasy, live it up.

So the landslide victory Walker had was because all the people hate him eh?:)

And we are the dumb ones.

Margin of error doesnt really change the fact that Romney seriously closed the gap between him and Obama in the polls. Unless you think the margin of error is 11 pts for some reason.

Hmm, the NY Post reporting on a Rasmussen poll. Credible? You decide. :D

The poll that called the recall for Walker dead on had Obama up by 7.

It also had the recall race neck and neck. We all know how accurate that was.
