Republican backlash to Romney and his gay appointee. "homophobic Hyperbole"? Even when its in your face, you deny it.

Why is the GOP so afraid of gays anyway? To each his own. If you believe in less govt then what do you care about anyone else's lifestyles? Its NONE of your business.

Not true that GOP is against gays. I am Repub. Speaking for myself and many of my Repub friends, we are for gay marriage and have no issues regarding gays. I think the left like to pretend, but as far as I know, only really religious people have an issue with gays. Many Democrats say they are Christians, so wouldn't many of them be against gay marriage because of their religion? And Muslims are against them. Hispanics are often Catholic, which are against gay marriage. I'm just pointing this out because somehow it's always the right who are accused of being homophobic and I don't think that is accurate.

It's more of a religious thing, not a party thing.

Give me a break. When you vote for leaders that have a certain agenda, you can't say "I vote for them, but I don't share their agenda". That's just outright ridiculous.

no give me a break.....how many of your fellow Democrats in these threads have said they dont like some of Obamas "agenda"....but are voting for the guy?....you cant grasp that idea because you dont Question the people you vote for,you just vote for them....oh and Dean so you will know....EVERY Politician has an "Agenda"....now you know....

Unless the only other real candidate has a worse agenda. Then what do you do?

So do you share Obama's anti-gay marriage agenda? He's against gay marriage you know.

As a general rule, the overriding agenda of most candidates is to GET ELECTED.

What are dems supposed to talk about all the good Obama's done, how he's not eaten any household pets this week?

See?

The very best thing they can say about Mittens and the very worst thing they can say about President Obama is that when the president was nine years old, someone gave him dog meat to eat.

Think about that. These poor schlubs have built their whole identity around something that happened to the president when he was nine years old. And, they don't have anything else.

Gawd knows, I've given them plenty of chances to sing the praises of their hero, Mittens. I've asked them for real info about him. And, how many times have I asked them for pub accomplishments and, not one of them can come up with anything better than

When the prez was 9 years old, someone gave him dog meat to eat.

It almost makes me feel sorry for the poor wacko rw's.

not

:lol::lol::lol:

Do you know that Mittens real name is Willard?

Gay Republicans are the smartest gays. They can't marry or go die in a war? Sounds pretty good to me.

rdean, instead of more trash tossed at him, why isn't he getting applause for being open minded?

Because he is not open minded. Give this some thought.

This forum is not a good cross section of rw's - or at least it doesn't seem to be. The rw's I read in other places are very nervous because Mitt changes almost daily. What he is doing now, changing everything he has said the past few months, is very obviously, pandering.

What Mitt is open to is money. That is the one constant through his life ad through his career of making business decisions that would line his pockets.

Just like Norquist said, if he's elected, he'll do what his owners tell him to do.

THAT is why he got big bucks. They bought him.

oh and the Democrats are not like that?.....like i have said Dudley.....your controlled....your so controlled you probably dont think that Democrats are bought and sold just like Republicans are.....right?.....

And, Mitten's agenda is to tell whatever Lie du Jour that will get him elected so he can channel the wishes of Norquist, Rove, Kochs ...

So you are saying he lied to his base?

No, I am writing that he appears more open minded than it seemed at first glance. NOW, name any candidate that DOESN'T stress differing issues at times to get votes.

Are you saying that Mitt's dozens of flip flops are just his way of suckering us in and getting us to vote for him?

If so, I agree with you.

its called being a Politician Dudley....glad your coming around....

Yes, he is a candidate for office; you would prefer someone unable to change their mind?

he wants someone who thinks just like he does.........FAR Left end of story....

It's happening already. Romney is becoming moderate.

Sen. John McCain, a top Romney surrogate, told reporters on Tuesday that the presumptive nominee supports immigration reform, despite Romney’s statements to the contrary, reports the Huffington Post. Romney does not support a path to citizenship, a key element of comprehensive reform.

“He’s already said that immigration reform is something that he’s committed to,” McCain said.

McCain also denied that Romney supports a policy of self-deportation, the idea behind the Arizona and Alabama immigration laws – though Romney has touted self-deportation as “the answer.”

“No he hasn’t. He’s said that’s one of the options he’s looked at,” McCain said. “So don’t put words in his mouth.”

But in a GOP primary debate in January, Romney expressed support for the policy:

The answer is self-deportation, which is people decide they can do better by going home because they can’t find work here because they don’t have legal documentation to allow them to work here.

oh McCain says it....so it must be true....next im sure Junky will show us Palin saying the same thing....its called Politics Junky.....trying to be something for everyone....glad to see you realizing that....

Gay Republicans are the smartest gays. They can't marry or go die in a war? Sounds pretty good to me.

Romney supports wars. He didn't have to go and neither did any of his five sons.

Remember this quote, "One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I'd be a great president". It was Romney's answer when asked why none of his 5 military age sons didn't enlist in Iraq, a war he supported vehemently.

to Dean only Republicans have an agenda.....Democrats only care about the people and the Country......and walk on water every Sunday.....

You know, I bet there are more gay scientists than Republican scientists.

Republicans goal is to "undiscover fire".

Do you think they are all really gay? Or do they suck each other's dicks because they can't get women?
Ask your repub Senator Larry Craig that got busted in an airport men's room.
