That's what is so disgusting about the stimulus in the first place. Once again the feds sticking their nose in where it does not belong. Let cities hire their Cops Firefighters and Teachers. If you ask me there are way too many federal agents running around with guns anyway. When I was growing up you never saw a forest ranger with a sidearm and a shotgun. If Obama stopped worrying about government workers maybe he could of paid more attention to the economy and we wouldn't be in the national mess he has us in. Bill Clinton said it best... "it's not right to have so many unemployed and underemployed Americans getting up every morning and looking in the mirror only to ask themselves what it is they are doing wrong". Oh! I agree, some states, counties, parishes, cities, towns, and villages may, some may not. Obama's comment concerning the private sector being economically "fine" DID need to be retracted. Romney jumped of course, had he waited a day or so, then noted both the flub, and the explanation" would had a greater impact.
