prior to the elections, can you name one bill proposed by the dems that had the support of the republicans? the became the party of no. that was their political stance. they voted no in unison time after time after time. they didnt offer solutions or compromise, they simply voted no.

true, but Bush is in no way blameless. Who submits the budgets? How many spending bills did Bush veto before 2006? who requested off budget supplemental spending bills for the war, knowing before he did the budget that he would need the money?
