If you read Paul Ryan’s positions you might conclude he is a hardcore conservative:

Here Is Where Paul Ryan Stands on 13 Key Policy Issues

As part of the leadership team when Republicans control the purse strings, Ryan’s mixture of beliefs and votes leave a lot to be desired.

    1. Abortion. Planned Parenthood is still funded.

    2. Budget. Spending continues to rise.

    3. Education. The Department of Education is still in business.

    4. Energy. The EPA has grown more powerful.

    5. Financial Bailout. Neither Democrats nor Republicans deny bailouts of any kind to anyone.

    6. Gun Rights. The reason for the Second Amendment is never defended by Republicans.

    7. Health Care. Not one part of the ACA has been defunded by Republicans.

    8. International. How much money is diplomatic relations with Communist Cuba costing the American people?

    9. Immigration. Amnesty is supposedly a Democrat position.

    10. Labor Unions. Government unions is the problem.

    11. Marriage: An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose same sex marriage.

    12. National Security: Afghanistan is a United Nations war.

    13. School Choice. The Department of Education is still in business.

NOTE: These positions should have been included:

    The TPP was not listed.

Giving hundreds of thousands of United Nations economic refugees welfare state benefits was not listed.

Giving tens of millions of illegal aliens welfare state benefits was not listed.

    H.R. 75 was not listed ——

Finally, I do not know which presidents Paul Ryan admires, but Coolidge ain’t one of them:

Patriotism is easy to understand in America; it means looking out for yourself by looking out for your country. Calvin Coolidge
p.s. Ann Coulter has Ryan’s number:
