Military is a great option for a young person. You will learn more about The United States of America through the military than any classroom can teach you.During Korea and Vietnam we damned sure drafted a lot of them. Not sure it did them a lot of good. Also the idea that the military is a good move for a kid born into poverty is highly debatable. Sometimes it's good but sometimes they are killed or horribly wounded.
