Military assistance to the Border. Rules summary of the Military

That isn't the question...........it is whether he can use funds from the military to deal with a state of emergency............and that issue is questionable.........I'd like to see it confirmed one way or another as I've stated...........

I'd also like to see if funding could be appropriated for the military to build the wall............we already know they can give CBP equipment........and temporarily house detainees.............that has already been done...........

The military could build the wall cheaper than outside contractors.............and it would save a bunch of money if it was done that way........as other nations do already.

I don't think there really is a question if he can use the DOD funds to buy the supplies, fuel, etc. to "BUILD THAT WALL" (I just raised the heart rate of most trump supporters with that one). I don't even believe that Supreme Court would even rule on it since it's a Congressional Problem and not a Supreme Court Problem. But it might be more entertaining than all of Trumps other Reality Show projects. Just sad to see that it's done on a national level.

And I agree, and it will last much longer as well. The Army Corp of Engineers are the finest fully contained Construction Contractors in the World. But the problem is, the local economies won't benefit from it.

They got to buy the concrete and rebar from someone........

The problem is, the manpower will not be local or even close to being local. Civilians will not be paid wages. Now, that would not be a pretty picture and I believe that would end up in court pretty damned quick.

That is not the purpose of the military and you know it. About who's getting the money is a political issue..........Not a military one............That would be just grandstanding over people trying to profit over the wall construction......The steel and concrete don't make themselves............that the military has to buy........unless they want to set up those concrete plants temp in the desert to make it.........and yes..........they can do that.........

They will not be using a 6 cu.ft. mixer from Lowe's.

I'd like to <think> thier target(s) might be a little harder than that....

That sub can be sunk............LOL.......or forced to surface.....captured and placed as a monument on the wall itself..........LOL

As far as the pretty maps.........the military could secure all of that......It's what they are trained to do...........

I did Legal Ops............the war on drugs is nothing new.

In regards to building the wall .......that is the real question here.......Not taking out Cartel subs........which I wouldn't give a shit if they did.........Target practice.

It brings me to an even more important decision this morning. It's breakfast time and what do I want in my omelet.

And the Fires in Colorado in the 70s, the Floods in Pakistan in 1969, and more. How about the Military Hospital Ships at many different disasters, etc.. If you understood what it takes to be a Warrior, you would understand that killing ones enemy is only part of being a Warrior. A Warrior eats AFTER the Women, children and old men do.

My job was to keep the ship running and provide electricity to it.......while we did those missions.........LOL

They mix the cement in the truck then transport it to the site. Just like any other construction site. The longer the transport, the more water will be used to keep the cement at the right constancy. If they are trying to build a wall in the middle of a desert where it's 150 miles in the middle of nowhere, better bring a good water truck along.

You can add all the damn water you want but all you are doing is weakening the strength of the portland because it is hot and sets up according to when the mix was made not when you pour it and the longer it sets in the truck the faster it will want to dry and if it dries to fast you have an undesirable finished product.
The best way is to make it on the site of the construction.

Oh, we all grunted from time to time. One could not eat at the Chowhall without grunting from time to time. No, I was Air Force and traveled quite a lot. Yes, we all have a purpose. Yours was, let me see if I can explain it.

You were given the only job they thought you could do. Your sat in from of one circuit breaker. Your whole job was to reset it if it tripped. You were told that if it popped in the down position you were to count to 10 and push it up to the up position. That was your whole job. The problem was, you screwed that up and got the instructions backwards. When someone flipped the circuit breaker up, you counted to ten and flipped it down and all the lights went out. The next person coming by would say, "That's not supposed to be that way" and flip it up. You would count to 10 and flip it down and all the lights would go out again. Then the next person..... until they discovered why the damned lights kept going out every 10 seconds. You screwed even that up.

It's like a buddy of mine in the Army. His MOS was Computers. His job was to pull the black box, turn it in and replace it with another black box. He didn't learn until after he separated just how unqualified he was on computers. He did correct that in civilian schools so no harm done. Our Avionics guys not only pulled the boxes, they took them in the shop and repaired them. Even though they could have called themselves some fancy name with Computers in it, they didn't. They were Avionics Specialists like I was an Aircraft Specialist which is a very, very broad term. We al repaired what we pulled in the field. So don't give me that BS around being in charge of the electricity. The idiot in charge of the circuit breaker can say the same thing.

Their intent is to get a better life for themselves and their children, not overthrowing the government by armed attack. And for that they deserve to be shot on sight? Mowed down?
