Happened yesterday. Midair between a P-51D and an AD-1 Skyraider. Skyraider pilot was able to land even though he had lost a few feet of right wing. The P-51 pilot bailed out.
There's only about 200 or so flying P-51's in the world, now there's one less.
I've seen the Skyraider fly at shows here in the US and is a really impressive bird to see in person. It has done a lot of movie work, most recently in "We Were Soldiers".
