Microsoft Launches Online Virtual Telescope

    Microsoft has launched a free online educational tool called the "Worldwide Telescope." It is a similar concept to "Google Sky," only much better. The WWT is a virtual telescope that allows one to roam space visiting planets, stars, nebula, and many other objects. MS should be commended for this free public education effort. The program that navigates the online environment is about 20mb:

    I think Microsoft is freeloading off of other people's ideas. No imagination! That's a corporation for you.

    They USE to have original ideas, it's sad to see something that was once innovative fall to such a low level of imitation.
