Okay calm down and breathe, then read the article again. The news story originate from the Washington Post. The link to the Post article is provided for you along with a snippet of the article. Newsmax credited the Post for the article within the first paragraph, different version of the article so I provided both.

The problem is that publications like NewsMax just love to take an innocent yet informative story and embellish it to imply something sinister. From the WAPO story, Michelle Obama apparently told her staff at the outset that they should be well informed on the issues of the day.

"She emphasized that they must work on a parallel track with the president's office to avoid the historical East Wing-West Wing tensions that have plagued most administrations. "Seamless" was the word she used to describe the partnership she expected with her husband's staff."

Why wouldn't she want that? How would it appear if her own press secretary didn't have a clue about the daily/weekly/monthly agenda of the President of the United States?

Get real.

Maybe if I spent more time here, I'd see more of what you see, but it seems to me that you guys (not "you" specifically) are the ones who get so fired up and angry that the insults come pouring from fingertips like I've clicked on some porn site by mistake. AND TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT ONLY BRINGS ON MORE OF IT. Which was my point.

Yeah, I "whine," Del because it seems from where I sit that the rules of civility are meaningless. If I defend my sense of disgust over some ugly name someone calls me, that somehow gets "stored" up in the USMB penthouse, and if I complain, it's dragged out as "evidence" that I'm just as sick and insulting as the person who hurled it at me. there are people on both sides who insult, use bad language, etc.
for every "lib" i can name a "con" and vice versa-the board allows it and *most* people can deal with it without going into hyperdrive. those that can't get warned and if that doesn't work, they get banned.

my only issue with you on this topic is your false assertion that only conservative males do it, are allowed to do it, and are never dealt with.
