We are now watching the ultimate beauty contest between Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann.

Perhaps the biggest difference between these two are their spouses. Sarah’s husband, Todd is bone straight while Michele’s husband, Marcus acts like a reformed homosexual. Well, why else could he teach that class and make it his business? One does not make something their life’s work without having lived to tell the tale. Look at Betty Ford (The Center) or Bill W (Alcoholics Anonymous) in regards to drug and alcohol addiction. On the other end of the spectrum there is John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted, who’s child was abducted, so in turn he created a platform to help those who suffered similar circumstances. Examples such as these are innumerable of people who take it upon themselves to help others survive life’s traumas. It is wanting to help those who are in the same boat as them, and in the case of Marcus Bachmann, that boat might just be the Atlantis Gay Cruise Ship. So far every time I see coverage of Mr. Bachmann, he is talking about gays, how his daughter dresses or dancing. Come on, girl. Don’t you think that he had to have been a follower of Satan in order to have seen the the light? Hence, teaching the class, Butch 101. Based on all the gay bashing that is coming out of the Bachmann camp (besides the modeling one) it is up to the gay community to put the kibosh on Michele Bachmann’s campaign once and for all. Let us call this Michele Bachmann’s Anita Bryant moment. Who can we boycott!

Fred Karger: Michele Bachmann A Liar, 'Hypocrite And Bigot'

Republican presidential candidate Fred Karger, the first openly-gay contender to vie for his party's nomination, sharply criticized rival GOP hopeful Michele Bachmann in an exclusive interview with the Michigan Messenger published online on Wednesday.

Karger took aim at Bachmann over controversial therapy methods reportedly practiced at her husband's Minnesota clinic.

Last week, The Nation reported that the clinic practiced reparative therapy, which the publication explains treats being gay as a curable disorder. When asked to share her opinion of such practices and whether they are used at her husband's clinic by a reporter for WQAD, an ABC affiliate, Bachmann declined to address the matter.

A report released by ABC News earlier this week offered an inside look at the practices and treatment offered at the center.

"She's a liar and now that she's been busted, she's trying to divert attention away from her lies," Karger said of Bachmann to the Messenger in speaking out on the matter. "She is just another hypocrite and bigot."

Bachmann has been clear about her opposition to marriage equality. Last week, the conservative congresswoman signed The Family Leader's "Marriage Vow" pledge, which entails supporting a "federal Marriage Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which protects the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman."

"What I signed was a statement that affirms marriage as an important part of our nation," said Bachmann during an appearance on Fox News' "Hannity" on Tuesday night. "I think that marriage is very important. It is the fundamental unit of our government. And I think it is important that we do uphold marriage and also the family."

CBS News reports:

Bachmann's campaign - and Bachmann herself - has declined to answer repeated requests from CBS News for an explanation of her beliefs about homosexuality. But in 2004, when she was a state senator, Bachmann gave an hour-long speech outlining her opinions at the time.

In speaking out at the time, Bachmann described gay individuals as being part of "Satan." Below, an audio clip of what the Minnesota Republican had to say via CBS News.

Hmmm. Okay, fill me in. I don't get much into the racial stuff. But...... While there are certainly individual examples..........I'm interested in hearing what the massive contributions to human society the Arab and African people have made. People have lived in Africa and the Middle East for a long time. Yet...they still are stuck in the dark ages when compared to Asia, North America and Europe. Why?

Yeah, she fought against gay rights. Are you INTOLERANT of opposing opinions?

Besides, we don't need gayness to run rampant in society. Homosexuality, in fact, is a malfunctioning brain. It is a brain telling a body to do something that the body is not anatomically designed to do. Males are designed to impregnate females, and vice versa. When a gay man or lesbian woman act on sexual impulse, their brain is malfunctioning. So how can we trust what is being put out of a malfunctioning brain? Would you trust info coming from a computer that is constantly malfunctioning? I wouldn't.
