Michele Bachmann Criticizes Obama, 'Silencing' Of 'Any Form Of Dissent To Islam'

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) criticized both President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for threatening to limit "the right to dissent from the American people," and expressed concern over the "silencing" of "any form of dissent to Islam."

Bachmann spoke out against those who "want to stop anyone in the world from saying anything negative about Islam" during an appearance on Jan Markell’s radio show, according to Right Wing Watch:

"Today, People For the American Way will deliver 178,000 petitions to House Speaker John Boehner urging him to remove Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann from the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in the 113th Congress. Bachmann earned rebukes from Boehner, John McCain and others last year when she launched a smear campaign against Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, alleging that Abedin and other Muslim-American public servants were agents of the Muslim Brotherhood.
